Description
Though many consumers have ditched their old iPods in favor of iPhones and iPads, the iPod Touch is still a high-powered device for web browsing, music, games, and other activities. Unlike older versions of the iPod, the current iPod Touch can connect to WiFi — akin to a smaller version of the WiFi-only iPad Mini. The iPod Touch even allows users to communicate for free via Messages and Facetime.
Though many consumers have ditched their old iPods in favor of iPhones and iPads, the iPod Touch is still a high-powered device for web browsing, music, games, and other activities.
However, this doesn’t mean that the iPod Touch is a basic device. On the contrary, it runs on the latest iOS (currently iOS 14). This means that iPod Touch owners can access nearly all of the same great apps and UI as they could with an iPhone or iPad.
The iPod Touch runs on the A10 chip, making it twice as fast as its predecessor. The device is also celebrated for its bright, vibrant display and high-quality graphics. The iPod Touch is even compatible with Augmented Reality (AR) games.
