The S23+ sits in the Samsung Galaxy lineup between the standard S23 and the S23 Ultra. As a middle child, the S23+ shares many of the characteristics of its siblings. Like the Ultra, the S23+ is a large phone; it measures 6.6 inches on the diagonal. The 23+ offers the same processor and cameras as its smaller stablemate, the S23 (the only significant differences between them are the screen and battery size).

Why would you pick the S23+ over the S23 or the Ultra? It comes down to that 6.6-inch screen. If you’re a fan of large phones but are not yet ready to pay super-premium prices for the Ultra, then the S23+ could be for you. Relative to the Ultra, you’ll save several hundred dollars while getting most of its performance. Of course, you’ll miss out on the S Pen and the 200MP camera system, but for many, that’s an acceptable trade-off.
